It started humbly as Witco Trading Company in 1974, dealing with marine cleaning and water treatment chemicals. As it was constantly exposed to the water treatment business, it ventured into the trade. Business grew and the company was incorporated as Witco Industries Pte Ltd in 1983.
As business continued to expand, it evolved into a company that provides total environment solutions to cater to customers’ business needs. Given its new role, in 2006 the company was renamed Witco Envirotech Pte Ltd.
Witco Envirotech’s business offerings range from the manufacturing of treatment plants and systems, to design and consultancy, to the repair, maintenance and trading of treatment plant and system parts.
